Company OverviewBroker Workflow provides services
and products to brokers which automate the "Plan" delivery
to the small business and individuals using innovative
interactive and collaborative methods, while simultaneously
providing a strong brand identity for the broker. The "Plan"
is defined as those services needed by a small business to
operate; these include company retirement plan, various
insurance plans, mortgages/loan plans, cafeteria plans, etc. In todays marketplace, small businesses and individuals require a variety of services. Everything ranging from retirement, insurance, and investment plans to legal and tax assistance. Most of these services are available through old-world, trusted providers such a brokers. The current state of e-commerce technology focuses on product information and order-entry. While this works well for purchasing consumer goods, it fails when purchasing a complex service, such as a 401K plan, because of the services inherent complexity, requiring collaboration with the an expert, i.e. the broker. By relying on our unique intranet approach, Broker Workflow will provide a realtime interactive workflow to manage the sales, delivery, implementation, and administration of complex professional services. Furthermore, we will do all this online. The Internet will be used as the common communications medium that allows us to deliver the service with the maximum efficiency required for both the users and brokers to implement the "Plan" process. Quality management and workflow are the two things that drive our very existence. Few organizations really understand these issues, yet any business transaction can be analyzed from just these two perspectives. We believe the workflow itself must evolve into something more efficient, more trustworthy, and of a higher quality. The trick lies in creating this workflow evolution without causing the discomfort of change, and thus rejection of the new paradigm. Our challenge is to find the necessary level of comfort, and then to model a new workflow with an interface design that is intuitive to the users. Through this process we can affect a positive change. |
