Demo Program

The first Business Process Management (BPM), workflow, demonstration program will be available to view on BrokerWorkflow.com on January 13.

The demo program illustrates the business process and resulting workflow for installation of a company retirement plan in a small business. Broker Workflows BMPs are based on newly derived industry standards for Business Process Management systems as defined by the Business Process Management Initiative organization, BPMI.org. The demonstration program represents a typical broker's business process in a standard format. All broker's business processes will use this standard format.

The demonstration features include:

1. A BPM overview including workflow engine features and advantages of business process management systems.

2. In general, the processes that will be used by a broker when setting up a BPM.

3. An actual workflow, including links to education/information materials, request for proposals processes, plan implementation processes including online forms, employee election process of selection investments, workflow step statusing and tracking, etc.
